Both CapCut and Filmora have their capabilities. For new users, CapCut is a great choice to work with as CapCut is extremely easy to use and gives endless basic and advanced tools and features. On the other hand, Filmora has designed for those people who are already experts in their skills and require advanced features for their projects. That is why users have to pay for their subscriptions. 

For me, if you are a beginner and want to edit videos without any difficulty then you should use CapCut as it is free, easy to use, and provides almost all the features that any other video editor has. But, if you are comfortable with advanced and bit complex features you may also use Filmora.

In conclusion, I must say Both CapCut and Filmora have their merits and demerits. Both have an extraordinary tool, effects, features, and much more that can be discussed. But filmora demerits are far more than CapCut’s. 

To give an edge to a particular software is difficult but in perspective, CapCut has a clear edge on CapCut due to its mindblowing easy features, providing watermark-free video, easy export options, and the ability to share directly on any social media platform. On top of that it is free to use which keeps Filmora out of the contest.
